Review: FLV to AVI Converter is an intuitive application with a good name - allows you to encode FLV files to AVI and other formats, such as MP4 and WMV. The program interface is simple and intuitive. You have limited options available. Clips can only import FLV files using a browser, because drag and drop is not supported (or batch processing them). So all you have to do is set the output format and destination to continue the conversion process. Additionally, you can choose a preset size or make your own one specified width and height. But you can also choose the quality or enter your own audio and video bit rate. This program takes a moderate amount of system resources and quickly complete the conversion task without causing us problems along the way. No errors occurred during our tests and FLV to AVI Converter is able to maintain the quality in terms of both picture and sound. On the other hand, batch processing is not supported and it is the main drawback of this instrument. You also can not configure audio and video settings, such as frame rate, aspect ratio, rate sample rate, channels and volume. All in all, FLV to AVI Converter is a good video converter, which gives very good results, but it does not offer anything extra. However, we recommend it to all users who prefer simple tools.
